Lindon, Utah (March 26, 2024) – Opiniion, a popular online reputation and customer feedback platform, recently added four new members to their team. Calvin Cryer – Senior Training Program Manager, Canyon Mills – Integrations Specialist, Marty McClure – VP of Finance and Tyler Clifford – Onboarding Specialist. Opiniion is excited to welcome each of them and feels they are a good fit to their departments and to the ever-growing Opiniion family.
Calvin Cryer – With over a decade of experience in the property management industry, Calvin Cryer comes to us as Opiniion’s Senior Training Program Manager. In addition to his work experience, Calvin is also well-versed in andragogy (adult learning theory), public speaking, and education. In his personal life, Calvin is takes hobby as a social media influencer, sharing his scale models through Instagram (@aftercolonykid). Brad Merrill, Director of Client Success said about Calvin, “The minute we started discussing a training position at Opiniion, I knew Calvin was the man for the job. Having worked with him in the past and been the recipient of many of his training sessions, I can personally attest to the depth of knowledge, experience and expertise that he has both in training, and in multifamily. Canyon Mills – An excellent addition to the Integrations team, we introduce Canyon Mills, the newest Integration Specialist. Recently graduating with his associate degree from Utah State University in Computer Science, Canyon has a rounded work history with previous experience as a parking enforcement officer, and a landscaper. Now, entering his first position in the computer science field, Canyon plans to continue his education at Utah Valley University seeking a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity. “Canyon has been awesome to work with and be around. His wittiness and his dedication to solve the problems in his path help make him a great addition to the team.” said Derrick Karlinsey, Systems Administrator at Opiniion.
Marty McClure – Joining Opiniion as the Vice President of Finance is Marty McClure. Having received a B.S. in Economics from the University of Minnesota, Marty comes to us with plentiful corporate experience. Prior to joining Opiniion, Marty served more than 3 years as Director of Corporate Strategy at Edmentum, a K-12 educational technology company. This was preceded by more than 5 years in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisory at several investment banks. “We couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome Marty McClure as Opiniion’s new VP of Finance! With his impressive background and deep knowledge, we’re confident he’ll be a game-changer for our team. Tyler Clifford – As the newest addition to the onboarding team, Tyler Clifford comes with a background in medical insurance billing and insurance verification, as well as operational supervision of medical equipment delivery services. The change from the medical world to a tech-based property management space was not a blind decision but made with a goal to expand his knowledge base and grow his abilities in new areas. With limited experience at Opiniion, Tyler has already shown himself to be an asset to the team and known as an “Onboarding Superstar” by his peers. Brad Merrill, Director of Client Success, shared, “Tyler’s first few weeks have been a whirlwind. He has learned the system faster than anyone I have seen before and has already started to bring new ideas and ways for improvement to our processes. I am so impressed with his ability to learn and quickly implement new efficiencies into our processes. I look forward to all he brings to this role moving forward.”
